New to Site
Hi,
I Am new to the site and would like to get info on hammocks. I am a long distance hiker and I don't know what would be good for me I have read some of the threads and look at some of the manufactures and still confused. I am 5'5" and weight 125 and would like the fly and net.

Welcome DJ You will love Hammock Forum there are some great folks on HF.I my self am a newbie I have a Hennessy witch comes with everything you need but there are also some other great setups.Like the Warbonnet Blackbird , Clark Hammocks.Now the Blackbird comes with netting but you order the Fly extra> I'm sure others will give you allot to think about that know allot more than me. Like Shug, Professor Hammock and others as your on HF. you will see there are allot of guys that can teach you everything you'll need also get the book (The Ultimate Hang) by Derek Hanson Great Read.

Very happy in my stock Hennessy, but I'm one of the few that likes to just get the stock system and not have to tweak anything, if I was more DIY I would probably be on my 24th redesign!
