Gotta be using YouTube for embedding I guess.
Sure looks like a good campsite ... and a heck of a lot different weather than we're having up north of ya!
That looks like a great site. Looks like gator county? I say that cuz its not covered in ice:) Ever run into any out there?
There you go steeling my thunder . . . :D
My first thought was to say "Hey I think I saw a gator . . ."
Nice weather, but I might convert a e-bear fence to a e-gator fence . . .
Ooooh please keep those southern warm camping reports coming . . .
it helps me to look forward to spring.
wow -nice camp! pretty cool trees to be hanging from too -thx for sharing
I liked all those skinny stumps sticking up all around!!!
Hey .... fantastic tune!!!!!!
Nice tight tarps as well. Seeing sunshine and palms is just weird to me.
Shug of Snow
Thanks for sharing! Awesome looking place. I think I will put that on my list of places to kayak. Love going to places like this. Gives you a real sense of what Florida used to be before all of us who moved in. How was your overnighter there at the campsite? Good stuff. Had to watch the other video on your post.
nice to see warm places this time of yr. Beautiful place and paddlin to boot.
Definitely gators. This time of year the gators seem very dormant & lethargic because of the cooler temps. They normally avoid all the noise we make anyway.
laughing, yeah those Cypress knees are everywhere. It does make it tricky navigating during the nighttime nature calls.
And thank you for the great music Shug. Listen to you all the time in the truck & at work.
Without a doubt the Real Old Skool Florida. One of my favorites. The camping was awesome. Bugs were tamed down with the cooler temps too.
You got the right Hickory! Almost life threatening when mother nature calls at 3:00am, and you trip over a Cypress knee <laughing of course> My headlamp stays close at night.
