mighty interesting alternative...not sure of the weight or amount of down...says "crushed feather fill" so....... I'm not sure? at $12 it is mighty cheap...but.... I'm worried its like maybe 10 ounces of feathers in a large bag.....being mostly air?
I doubt crushed feathers have the same thermal properties as down but if you decide to try it let us know how it works out!
yeah that's what I was wondering about...nothing else they have has down.... only poly fills.
Someone here was buying Lux brand pillows from ebay a while back and harvesting the down. I can't seem to find the thread at the moment...
it's in the next thread; "any interest in possible mini-group buy?" or some such...... for how much actual down costs, I'm trying to stay on the cheap....... but I'm not sure how crushed feathers compare to actual down.... however, this is why I am looking through thrift stores and hoping to find down filled items :)
