First DIY 0.9oz ripstop
I was trying to make my first hennessy clone and figured i was going to make it as light as possible. I saw ppl making some out of 1.1oz, but non out of 0.9oz ripstop(the lightest material i could find). So i figured i would try it out. I spent two nights in it this weekend and it sleeps better than my real hennessy. I still have the rain fly and bug net to make and maybe some sag adjustments are in the near future but besides that it was awesome!

Nice work I just finished a WBBB Knock off out of 1.1. I'm @ 1lb 7oz with suspension. How much does yours weigh. I'm also curious how much weight 1.1 or .9 will support. Warbonnet rated his 1.1 single @ 185lbs. How much has yours supported, if you don't mind me asking?

Kudo's, great looking hammock but I kinda got vertigo on the first post lol. How'd you get your dog to do that?

I haven't weighted it quite yet(but i will very soon), I think i went a little over kill on the suspentions system. I used 1080lb sectra line for the ridge line and at the ends to gather the material and 9000lb spectra for the suspention(which was free!). It held my brother who is just over 200lbs just fine. Mine is also double layered (0.9oz), did you double layer yours?
