En Norrbagge !
You are most welcome, not so many Scandinavians around here.
Oslo, practically neighbors then :D
Stockholm / Sweden here, so see you on the trail.

Tjena, Moski :)
Moski: btw, your setup is exactly what I'm thinking of buying, except for the underquilt which I haven't decided on yet. BB is on the way, and I'm going to order a Maccat Dlx soon I think.
Great choices !
I have tons of hammocks at this point and the BB is the favorite among them.
I was a bit lucky about tarps and stumbled on the Mac cats pretty early.
I don´t think you will be disappointed with any of them.
I think you might want a Uq later on, but i think you did right with getting the BB and the delux first.
I really like my WB Winter Yeti, so that's a hint :)
You can go pretty cold with just a pad, but you know that.
Me and a mate is thinking about Rogens naturreservat in may/June.
I think that's femundsmarka on your side of the border.
Norway talk
Alle de fire store rovdyra - bjørn, ulv, jerv og gaupe har blitt observert i eller ved nasjonalparken.
All four big predators - bears, wolves, wolverines and lynx have been sighted in or near national park.
And on the Swedish side you have Musk oxen from Greenland.
We will probably use Alpacka's in there.
And i will actually start looking for some adventures in Norway tonight.
I prefer going by water instead of walking.
Any suggestions?
We migth team up one day?
Ps, gonna check your blogg out, right now :)
See you!
That sounds like a great trip! - I've never been in that area before, but people tell me it is a very nice wilderness area. Which model of the Alpacka are you going to use? I'm sure there are some really nice places to do something similar in Norway, but I don't have any specifics to suggest. Try fjellforum.net - they can probably point you in the right direction. Yes, it would be very cool to meet up sometime on the trail! Let's keep in touch.
I have a feeling I'll end up wanting an UQ, but I'll try once more to use my Exped Downmat 7. It was a bit unpractical to use with the HH Expedition, so I hope it'll be better with the BB double layer. I was a bit cold sometimes in the HH, but that was mostly because I ended up with my feet pressed onto the fabric and all loft was gone in that area. Didn't help that the Golite Adrenaline 40 I was using was underfilled :). Next time I'll use a MYOG quilt.
This one !

I'm a small guy so it's the smallest (and lightest) one, the Alpaca.
My mate hasn't got one yet, but we have Avanza over here and they rent them out.
- 250 Sek for a weekend
- 500 Sek for a week.
Wish they started that before i bought mine :D
I use the UQ together with a very small (40x100cm ) CCF pad for the feet.
Very versatile .
Actually gonna check if that pad fits the Alpaca right now.
Might be nice if the water is a bit cooldish.
Gonna check your link out tonight.
Ps ,i hate my keyboard!
My son spilled some fluid in my old one, blue smoke.
That was Logitech Natural, you know the bent one ?
I bought a new ordinary keyboard and now every thing has to be typed at least two times.
