Hello maybe possibly again from a TOTAL newbe

Hello, I joined a few months ago but have been so bunched up from work here of late I haven't been here since. I am very interested in getting started in hammock camping. I'm not sure I'll like it as I have never used one. However everything I have seen about them intrigues me. So I want to learn about them and how to properly use them before I just grab one and make some horrible mistakes.
Any help I can get will be greatly appreciated. Thanks ahead of time and May the Maker of All Things (no I am not talking about China)
