You may consider using your air mat (partially deflated) with some closed cell foam under it. That'll do the trick 'til you get your UQ. Some people also choose to supplement with reflectix, especially to prevent CBS. Also works good around your feet if using a 3/4 UQ. Main thing is to get out! Happy Hangin!

Looks like a great time you guys had. Wish I could have made it. I'm just rationalizing that the snow will be flying soon and we can get out and have some real fun. :)

You backpack with an axe? Awesome!

I am surprised that Zaleski looks kind of empty in your pictures. I thought it would have been packed since it was warmer that weekend. I wish I was there ... maybe next time.

Hey Madobo, lookin' forward to meeting you. Bring that Dangerbird...that's one feathered creature I've yet to see.
It wasn't crowded at all. Very nice to enjoy some good ole R&R.

I enjoy the DB 60. I like the built in over-cover. It has kept me warm when it gets below 30°.
The same weekend of your Zaleski trip, myself and a few buddies backpacked around Burr Oak Lake. One of them used my WB Ridge Runner. He really liked it but I think he will end up getting the Blackbird.
