I am planning and finalizing my two larger hikes this summer that will take me from Pearisburg to Damascus on the AT. I am trying to find some good places to hang my hammock for the evening. Does anyone have any suggestions for great spots I should consider spending the night to pitch my hammock while on this hike? Any places with great views, scenery, quiet riverside, places they like to hang, etc? If these are listed in another post let me know.
