i agree with medicineman...
Off the trail and tucked away in the brush. (If possible) I find it a lot easier to hide a hammock than it was to hide a tent since level ground is not an issue. I just make extra sure there are no widow makers.

I prefer good old woodland camo. Works well in the pines where i camp. But digital looks cool.

humans rarely look up for threats with the belief that over thousands of years of development the vast majority of threats to people were below the waist-dogs/wolves/snakes/etc.
So if you can when stealthing head up hill.
I might see the ASAT near a duck blind!
Just thought of an awesome but HEAVY camo=ghille tarp :)
but maybe not so terribly heavy if you the tarp you have but add lightweight nylon netting then put native plants into the netting-thoughts?
