Mini S-Biners
So I posted this here in General because these can be used for pretty much every part of hammocking. Ok so understanding that their strength is not rated for hanging your hammock; these little things are awesome to have. I found them at AutoZone at the register for $4.99. They are super small and are great for hanging your UQs and various other things. So if your a fan of the S-biner then here is a place you can get the super mini version for cheap.
They are also decent for just putting keys on too...But who needs Keys on a hike?:D:D

Have found lots of uses for those. My winter tarp has loops on the doors to hold it closed and the mini s-biners work much better than the mitten hooks it came with. One can also attach toggles that have loops to their suspension.

Nice. Looks like I may have to make a pit stop on the way home. :)

I've used the nylon versions for a while now, have load tested them up to 35lbs breaking point. Like them a lot.
Since then I've also started using the stainless versions in this same .5 size and like them quite a bit for heavier loads like suspending tarps, etc.

I carry a few in my bag in case I need them. I actually believe I have two on my ridgeline; they used to hold a fan.

This is a pretty good deal. I got the stainless steel set for about $10.

I've had mine break at 10 lbs but then have them hold up at 25 but still use the crap out of them my pack is not complete w/o them. Good price at 4.99

I hate them because mine tend to hook themselves into the amsteel loops when I hang them. Has nothing to do with the fact that I'm a fat-fingered klutz.

I use them on my stakes (MSR Groundhogs). Just easier to attach and detach the stake-out lines.
