Awesome Video Water Monkey. That sure is one pretty tarp with a whole lot of coverage. Cant wait to see that tarp in person at the NJ Winter hang. Makes me excited for my HG Winter Cuben to come. Thanks for sharing.
Great video... maybe too much time on your hands:D, but a great video. Thanks for sharing.
I've been considering contacting Adam about a cuben tarp, but didn't like the 8.5' width. Nice to know that a wider tarp has been done. Did you give any thought to a longer ridgeline as well? I'd like to have a 12' ridgeline since the Switchback needs a little more coverage than the average hammock.
It may be considered a "winter" tarp, but at this weight it would be my only tarp so it would be a four season tarp for me.
Very nice tarp and great video!
Nice tarp, You've got enough room for all of us under that tarp.
I hope you don't mind, but I'm going to pinch your method for tying out the two tabs on the tarps.
nice tarp, but what makes a tarp a winter tarp????
I... I... I don't even know what to say. Nice review... the rest scares me... BUT I LIKE IT! That tarp is absolutely massive... perhaps we should just call it "The Barge". Thanks for the vid WM.
Happy Hangin'
Ben
Cant wait to meet everyone there!
Give him a shout I'm sure he will work with you! I didn't need a larger ridgeline so this was fine for me.
Thans for watching!
If it helps and works out for you, take it! That's why I toss it out there.
It's a winter tarp for me. Having doors and being able to pitch it low allows me to keep most of the wind out which is key, for me, for winter camping. The reason why I approached Adam for this tarp was solely for a winter tarp to my specs.
Oh for the record the whole movie took me probably 4 hours from filming to cutting over 2 days between some family events. I already knew how I wanted to shoot the movie so the whole thing was in my head just waiting for the tarp to get in my hands and give it a once over.
The Bumble and Thumper (my Fiance) were great stage hands and co-star material. Making the movie was really fun for everyone!
