DIY Supplier Sticky?

Maybe there's one and I'm just overlooking it, but it seems like a sticky thread with a list of online sources for materials would be a nice addition to this forum.

The top post could have a list of dedicated cottage suppliers and sites that have relatively permanent selections of materials, more transient deals could be left in the thread by users as well.

Has this maybe been discussed and abandoned as impractical/unnecessary?

I was just rummaging around looking for one too, thought I saw one at one point but can't find it now.

I can never remember the name of the place I want to go, so as I find a place I bookmark it, when I want to look at something, just scroll down to the familiar name and click, slow but it works for me.

There's one for fabrics here, but it's not quite as up-to-date as it could be.
