summer PHISH festival anyone?

I am curious if anybody here have plans to attend the weekend camping music festival that Phish is putting on in NY on june 30th to July 3. It sure would be neat to run into someone flying there HF flag. It's a major trip for us but we make It into a family vacation and we will be camping and sightseeing along the way. Anybody else going to be there?

Do you use you hammock when you go? We use a tent but definitely will traveling with it to use at campgrounds along the way. At PHISH we will be camping in the RV section with friends.

Are you going to see phish at merryweather? Have you gone to other phish festivals over the years? I'm sure if I walk by you in a crowd this summer I will recognise your face :)

I cant make it cause I will be in a wedding in Mexico but other wise I would certainly be their. I do look forward to my 1 Camden and 2 Merriweather Shows coming up. Man I cant wait to boogie on down

Yes on MWPP. I have seen them many times. NYE 2000 in FL, Clifford Ball, Great went, and many smaller events. I just see them for fun now though.:cool:

I saw them there years ago...a two night run. Amazing! I will never forget those sunsets. Couldnt tell where the skyline ended/began. Phish was pretty amazing as well ;)

I hope to go to the festival in colorado over labor day weekend.

HaHa, very well put, I used to be so serious about seeing phish now it really is just for fun. cant wait to boogie down with ya at MWPP. Many a great times at phish shows and festies. But IMHO would never hang their. I wont bring more then a cheap wally world tent cause not much has come home in one piece for either a show or a festival for that matter.

Looking forward to my three nights with Phish in August. Kind of funny, they're playing at the "****'s Sporting Goods Park"; just about as corporate as it gets. At least it will be an appropriate venue for my hammock. :D

I too was in the everglades for NYE 2000, what a time:) .I have been to many other of there festivals and shows all over the east coast. Started with just me but it's a family affair now. Maybe we will see you there.

Very much so still my favorite band !!! I don't go out and tour anymore. I don't think my body would hold up. I will be at the 2 atlanta shows and Charlotte this summer along with the festival. I am taking advantage of the hotel travel packages for this festival....

BTW the 7 hr set at Big cypress is something I don't think will ever see again... It was awesome.

That's exactly what I was thinking, maybe we can exchange some info for meeting up and chat over a cold beverage.

You're right; Sept 3-5. Don't know why I thought it was August. Lots of good shows out here during the summer and I'm horribly easy to confuse. :D

Not really GD's thing, but who knows, she might be feeling funky.

Not going to make it to the Watkin's Glen fest...which sucks because I live literally less than 3 hours away...that area is so beautiful...sooooooooo many wineries...if people need suggestions for wineries there I can help with that...many many wine tours in the Finger Lakes region.

I will however be at Darien Lake, near Buffalo, NY on June 8th for sure!!!!

Wagner Vineyards and Brewery
- This place truly has great wine and beer!!!

Glenora Vineyards
- One of my favorite wineries in the Finger Lakes...so delicious and a great view...and you can eat here and stay there too.

Bully Hill Vineyards
- This is a pretty big vineyard...great view...wine is ok...definitely on the cheaper side...but they have some good ones.

Rasta Ranch Vineyards
- This place you have to check out...definitely a bunch of wine making hippies that run this place...they will prob get you drunk at their tastings...don't have an official site, but this will provide their address...most of their wine is really sweet...but still pretty good...just really sweet...if you like your dry's, then bring your own...you won't find it here.
