St. Genevieve, MO hang
I took my hammock out proper this week on a backpacking trip in Hawn State Park in Missouri. The hike is beautiful; nice views and great wildlife (especially if you like herps!) I went with 2 friends that tent camped, and they spent a considerable amount of time finding a flat, smooth place to set up. I just watched and made pithy remarks at their expense :D
And yes, that is duct tape connecting my 2 pieces of netting, thanks for asking.

Beautiful area! That stream looks like a nice soak spot for hot summer days.
They hours I've spent prep'ing a tent site in the past. Makes me wonder what took so long to slide into a hammock. So glad for this site and the awesome folks that worked out and put up all the "how to" stuff. Makes trips like this so much more enjoyable.
Thanks for sharing the photos!

Great pics! I'd like to get over there sometime.
As for the duct tape -- whatever works! The sticky side could act as a fly strip as well. :)
