Anyone know anything about these tarps? They look bomber, but spendy.

Only 1 pound 11 ounces. Holly cow it weighs almost as much as my hammocks under quilt and tarp.
Color is real stealthy.... ;)

You may want to look at the Gear Guide tarps on Sportsman's guide. You can get them in either 9x9 or 12x12 version, white or camo, 12 tie-outs, about the same weight you are looking at and half the price.
Camo Tarp
White Tarp
I'm looking at the D3: 10x12, cat-cut, 19 oz and $105. I am very leery of sil-nylon tarps, as they tear easily when wet, and leak after long use (mine does, anyway). The "neo" tarp is fine, but I am looking for lighter. The 9x9 weighs 22oz, but it looks like the p.o.e. D3 should be longer lasting and better built. Granted, $105 is far more than I plan to spend.
I am really looking for anyone who has experience with these tarps. Anyone?

Oh yeah. I remember seeing that one. I had also thought about trying that one but held back because of two concerns. The price was one concern and the other concern was the shape. It is shaped like a kite and I was concern about how well it would cover the hammock. If anyone does end up buying this I would like it hear the reports on it.
Not to mention "solar orange" is the only color.:)
