2012 Arkansas Ozark Hang
WOW !! ... What a trip this one was .. one thing I have found the the common denominator in hammocks is the awesome people involved .. this was my 3rd Hang in as many states .. I hiked a total of 224 miles solo and filled a 16gb card, so it'll take awhile to sort through it all and get it into video so I can share it with you all .. I am blown away with the beauty I found here in Arkansas .. due to the logistics I had to leave Saturday .. it's a rainy day here in Arkansas and I hope it's not spoiling the fun for the rest that remained at the hang .. below is a teaser pic from my hike

I had a blast as well, just got up too Alton Mo. to do some more floats. It was my first group hang and definitely won't be my last. Great fun, Great people, and Great food! Made a lot of friends and looking forward to next year. Smokehouse said he would start a tread for pics, so I'll wait till then to upload. I didn't bring my cord anyway!

My third time to the hang; and yet again a wonderful trip! My thanks to Smokehouse and the whole gang for putting together this great event every year.
My photos are limited this year as I was restricted to camp (your choice as to why: (a) probation/incarceration, (b) major political figure required to make a campaign stop, or (c) injury due to a not-so-smart-move  ).
But, the photos that were taken can be seen here...

What a weekend! Thanks to Smokehouse for organizing this great hang, and let's all thank Mother Nature, who may have been at the potluck, and the Ozark Society for this great river. Nothing but great folks, many with some fantastic skills in an outdoor kitchen. Always something to learn.

I am sorry Owl and I did not come. We were converting another hammocker in perhaps the worse conditions. I bet ya'll were drier and warmer than Owl and I.

Wow my first group hang and it was awesome. Met some great people and really relaxed for a while. I did not get too many pics but I will get them up in a couple of days.
BurningCedar: looking at your picks makes me hungry for another round from the Dutch ovens. That was some good eating.
SmokeHouse: thanks for putting this together.

At three years, and counting, I think I can start calling this hang a tradition...an item on my calendar just like Christmas and my wife's anniversary.;)
Thanks to everyone who came, because you all, whether you know it or not, brought something to the puzzle that makes the whole. Great folks, all.
