RRG Recomendations
Planning a trip to the RRG, and looking for any tips or recommendations. Probably a 2 night trip, the crew I'm going with is probably looking at only about 8 miles a day or so. Any advice on best places to park (any issues with vandalism?), great hammock friendly campsites, gotta see overlooks, rock formations, etc.
Thanks

Thanks for the trip advice Doctari - three guys from work and I went there last weekend. 2 hanging, 2 in tents, but universal agreement - outstanding ! Thanks again.

I've hung at rrg three times, three weekends. Been everywhere there, its not a great place to do loops without being forced onto a road to rejoin a trail or otherwise walk along way on concrete. We basically went right up the middle of hte park, there is a trail that runs practically through the middle. We would launch off from that trail to a site we liked, get back on, and continue, repeat. When we got to the other side of hte park we just went back the way we came, righ tup the middle. I think rrg is beautiful, but big south fork is way better. Once you see the arches, you've seen the best of the park imo. consider bsf if you haven't already.
