joggerjohn check out stormcrows site http://www.theperfecttrees.com/workshop.html. He is also a HF member. He makes his 2/3 UQ at 52" long by 45" wide. So it gives us broad shoulder guys a bit more coverage.

I just bought a 3 season from dstenberg1. Oh yeh.
Yeah, stormcrows site looks pretty cool.. I especially like the incubator. It looks like what I always wanted. I wonder how well it fits on a Blackbird?
I should have the winter ptarmigan at my door step any day now so ill let you know :).
you should be ok, should cover shoulders to a few inches from your knees, you may need a leg pad a few inches longer than a shorter user, but that will be the case with any quilt. i don't think the shoulder width should be a problem either, i've got normal shoulders and have a few inches to spare in width, the asym cut excels in that area, makes it feel a little wider through the shoulders than it otherwise would.
It fits it great. Look at the photos on his website on the incubator page. http://www.theperfecttrees.com/products.html#Incubator All of the hammocks in the photos to the left are blackbirds.
i slept to 18 with my winter yeti and a half inch of landau foa under my legs. was toasty and could definetely have gone lower.
they changed products on you Jeff...
