Just got a Jambamama tarp from WB .... same ridgeline. He said not necessary. I did seam seal my side pull-outs though.

nope, the edge binding sheds the water, so the RL seam shouldn't leak.
the panel pulls could be sealed, but most don't since they' aren't overhead (any water that came through would just run down the sides)
