ChickenWing, quit telling on me. LOL... Yes he knows about it and he tried it out and loves it. The hammock he slept in at the SC hang was made by PapaSmurf and he really liked it. He said he slept very comfy and cozy. I like to keep my man happy so he doesn't get mad when the FedEx truck pulls in the driveway with another package. LOL.... :)
It arrived Monday and I slept in it Monday night.
My biggest problem with my WBBBs (1.1 & 1.7) is the length. Despite the footbox, the main body of the hammock comes down & gives me calf pressure, which drives me nuts. I can stuff a pillow or my pack under my knees to alleviate it, but I don't think that I should half to.
The advantage of the DangerBird is going to be that it's about a foot or more longer than the WBBB, plus about a third wider. If you've ever been in a large hammock, you'd find that it's easier to get into any position, side, front, back, whatever... than a smaller one (IMHO). I've found this to be the case with all of my gathered end hammocks.
nice setup!
