How cold does January get in mmmmmmmmmmassachusettes?
Anyone know where I can get insurance for my brand new winter tarp? bunch of pyromaniacs.
Just completed an order for an UGQ winter quilt set. An extra length 0* underquilt and a long/wide 20* tq with 2 extra ounces; both made with M50 material and resistant down. Along with my down jammies, I should be better equipped for our lovely New England winters.
Should have in a few weeks and will be looking for places to hang and just sleeping on the back porch through more of the winter. Currently, I'm good to around 32*.
Stoked!
I hope it's cold this year. Last year on New Years Eve, I slept on the ground in a natural lean-to shelter. We had freezing rain during the day while building the shelter but dined like glutenous kings at the end of the day.

I just had dinner, and now I am hungry again looking at that picture!
There's nothing like cooking over an open flame in the woods during winter.
