Thank you for your encouragement to start a Sedaka tribute band. I'm thinking "Notdaka" should be our name. And it will be glorious.

Glad you all had fun.
This is the worst Monday ever…because just a few short hours ago I was hanging out with a bunch of great HF members in the Cleveland National Forest!!
Thank you to everyone for coming out! I had a great time and look forward to doing it again soon. If I ever figure how to operate my smartphone, I’ll post the video from my hike to the peak of Los Pinos for everyone. (It’s only about 20 seconds long.)
Chet, I’d love to see that design you’re working on.
Some of my favorite moments:
-Actually putting a face to a HF member’s name.
-Seeing Jupiter…that was the coolest! Thank you for sharing your telescope with us, Pedro.
-Finally meeting Angus. We’ve chatted around 20 times about getting together for a trip and finally did it!
-Turning the forest into a DIY construction zone.
-The food. Holy cow! Adam’s chili was fantastic, the carne asada was perfect, and the jalapeno poppers were outstanding. I’ve never eaten that well in the outdoors before.
Michael (SoCal Mike)
Wish I could have made it! Next time!
