11' and at least 60"wide. Use the chart on Papa's website for the fabric weight to use. Randy is very realistic about the capacity of his fabrics. You can trust the info. I personally prefer a single layer. But that's just me.
Like Jammin said. At 6'2", you'd likely be much happier with the 11ft hammock.
Going with a double layer of one of the 1.0oz fabrics would give you a 67-68" fabric width to start with. Your final hammock width would be in the 66-66.5"ish neighborhood. You could certainly go a little narrower if you wanted to save a little weight, but its kinda personal preference on the width.

If you play around with the width and length, you'll get a rough idea how changing the size affects the overall weight of the hammock.
On the calculator, do you have to choose a width to get the correct weight or does it default with no weight chosen?Quote:
