Zipper to my hennessy

Did anybody ever add a zipper to their hennessy in any other way than the 2Q way. I am just wondering if it is possible to add the zipper like the zipper on the Warbonnet. Instead of putting the zipper at the seam of the netting and nylon, to instal the zipper ~2" below that.

I would be interested to hear about the different way if any.

You would have to hem the new seam you made removing some width and possibly messing with the lay. It also would be hard because of the way they do the HH ends. They are melted together so you would have to stop you zipper seam before the end. That would be hard to do, even for the zipper queen. I'm not saying it couldn't or shouldn't be done though.
