Temporary hanger part
I am going to be leaving on a mission in the summer it is a religous sebatical for 2 years when I do nothing but preaching. (Sadly it means no hammock fourms going to miss you guys :( ) But I want to be able to sleep in a hammock as a full time hanger during that time but here is the problem. The system has to be small and work in an apartment. The system cannot drill holes in the walls. It has to be able to be moved from one place to another. (You are never in the same place for 5 weeks at a time. I want to know if this is possible? I am completely stumped.

The wooden stands that have been shown here would probably be the only option. Build it modular so it can be taken apart and moved as a bundle of boards strapped together. Maybe you would have to build it when you arrived. Seems like a pain to fly with. Maybe you could just tale the hardware and buy the wood at your destination. In case it is difficult to find adequate hardware to assemble it.

What kind of car dose is all your stuff packing into...
One of the pipe stands on amazon should fit into most cars... You can build the turtle dog stands for $50 or less if your going real short... If you don't mind being low to the ground one that's 2 5' pieces for a ridge pole and then 4-5' high poles should do the trick... Someone has one he fits in a miata...
