Just wondering how you people adjust to trees that are too close. When I went camping a few weeks ago I had my BB, my ENO and my Traveler set up. The Traveler was between two trees that were rather close. The amsteel and cinch buckles I use extend about 6 inches from my hammock and I had a few more inches to the tree. What do/would you whoopie users do?

Or you can cinch the huggers around the tree so the MSH is on the back side of the tree. My tarp is much longer than my hammock+whoopies, so it's not a problem unless I want to go without my tarp.

Depending on the size of the tree and how much friction there is you might be able to cinch your tree straps back so they pull from the side of the tree instead of right in line with the hammock.
That's what Acer is saying too I think...

Skip your whoopie completely. Larkshead your webbing directly to your hammock, wrap the tree with the remaining webbing and secure.
