Perhaps we should designate a gathering place/campfire so that the early-to-bed, light sleepers and families with kids can hang as far away as possible. Last year our campfire/gathering place was around campsites 10 or 11, as I recall.
Shall we designate that area as the non-quiet zone? I suspect that over 50% of people want to hang close to the action, but letting folks know where the action will be can inform them where/where not to hang.

Then there are those who don't want to be near the latrines (I'm in that camp: the noises coming out of there induce nightmares), and others who don't want to be near the water pump. I think I'm gonna draw this up in Visio with latrines and water pump marked as well.
