undecided on tarp
Ok I'm looking to get a new tarp. I have a bushcraft Usa 10x10. But want a tarp with door option.
I'm looking at either the warnonnet Mamajamba or superfly.
I have also been looking at the outdoor equipment supplier 4 season. I'm leaning towards the superfly.
Also wanting snake skins for it & thought of ordering from the member mountaingoat but her site only showed mesh & I want something that'll keep it dry. Whatcha your Wolsey opinions?

Forgot to add although it probably doesn't matter I have a SBP.

my favorite tarp, with doors, is positively my Old Man Winter from Wilderness Logics.
the 3 side stake outs make for a tighter pitch allowing superior weather shedding, rain or snow.
i also find that when the doors are closed, i have more usable space than i had with my other winter tarp.
if i could only have 1 tarp, it would definitely be the OMW.
when it comes to skins, most use mesh because they will allow a damp tarp to breath a little.

You can't go wrong with the superfly. The doors are great for helping to block the wind and rain when you need to hunker down. It's also really nice to put it in porch mode too. It's nice to have the extra protection when you need it. I'm not a gram weenie so I'm not overly worried about the weight. It's only 19 0z, so not heavy at all. I also have an Edge tarp for summertime use and at other times when I don't need the protection of a larger tarp. The Edge is also made by Brandon at Warbonnet. I love both tarps and they fit my needs well. Cuban fiber of course is lighter and a lot more expensive.
You could always go to a local hang and check out the different gear other hangers are using. That, and reading all you can here on HF to learn all you can about this wonderful hobby/way of life. Those are the two best pieces of advice I could give you. You have to find what you like and what works for YOU. Good luck in your journey.

+1 on the Superfly. Lots of great options out there, but the Superfly is the best value around, IMO. A very respectable balance of coverage, weight, cost and excellent quality. Tough to go wrong with it (unless you're able to drop 3x as much $$ - if you are, definitely go with a Hammock Gear Cuben 4 season tarp, which is the same size).

+2 for the superfly. I just got mine the other day and love it. It's weight is no biggie to me since I was carrying a Noah's Tarp 9 before, which is heavy.

Re: undecided on tarp
Yeah, I'd get that one in the FS section except I don't want to mess with having to add doors.
That OMW from Wilderness Logics looks mighty fine too. Esp at that price. I think all the tarps mentioned here would be great to have.
