Custom Winter Tarp
Had a chance to setup and photograph my new OES Custom Winter Tarp today.
Specs:
11' Ridgeline
6' sides
Catcut to save a little weight.
Extra tie outs on the head end door and both sides for high wind conditions.
Just have one pict for now this is Porch Mode.

Hope to have other setups photographed in the next day or two and will post them with a short review after I've played with it a bit.

I just got one very similar - mine has pull outs on the sides....I was hoping to try it out tonight, but the trip got canceled....
-
that looks super nice and your hammock/UQ is very stealth - diggin the gear very much
-
Looks like it will give you great coverage
-
Sweeet..... I'm having a bad case of tarp envy here!;)
-
I'd love to see some more pictures as I'm just about to confirm an order for a similar tarp from Brian.
Is it made from Silnylon or Spinn ??
-
Very nice! That Blackbird and Incubator look great too.

Hi All,
Had a chance to play around in the backyard today. Here's some more shots.
Nice weather mode:

Full Winter Mode: This is the entry side (foot end). The catcut allows entry without messing with the tieouts.
In blowing snow this might be an issue so tarp placement with this side down wind might be needed. I plan to
take my GrizBeak in case I need to close this end up more. I haven't tried overlaping the doors that might be worth messing with.
With 6 foot sides I can stand straight up to mess with my gear. No nagging back pain from being hunch over. No need to shovel
snow dams around the edges. Sides are steep to allow snow to fall off with no tapping the walls.

Head End secured with small S-biners.

Overall I really like how this winter tarp came out. I wanted something I could weather a snow storm in,
live in, for several unscheduled days.
I haven't put it on a scale but this is my winter (pulk) tarp
and summer kayak tarp so weight is not an issue for me.
That's all for now. Hope you enjoyed the picts and short review.

I like the bigness of the tarp. A real winter coat.
Have a Superfly on its way from Breadon.
Will keep you posted.
Best,
Blaze
