Noobie question
Can you take SBP upside down, hook a piece of cord just where the material ends and rope begins on both ends say at 105" pull tension to where that line is fairly tight, Then un hook that line flip hammock over and set bug net to tension. And use this as a guide to set hammock up. I realize you may want to adjust the 105" line up or down to your liking but might be a quick reference point for hanging what do you all think. Would it work for a quick reference? Thanks Jon

I don't see any reason it won't work. Though I'm pretty sure people have been able to attach a ridgeline in the SBP which would accomplish the same thing and save you from having to attach extra cords for the netting.

Do yourself a favor and put whoopies and a structural ridgeline on it, you'll be much happier.
Check out this thread for some ideas on setting up the bugnet, works for both models of SB
