Can you tell what kind of ripstop it is? What application it would be best for?
I'm pretty sure--historically anyway--Hancock sells uncalendared 1.9 oz/sq.yd. ripstop. I'm going to take a look at the sale right now. :D
By the way, I see they have camouflage ripstop (Click HERE). That's hard to find. I don't know anything about it though.

Thanks for the heads-up on the fabric. I just picked up 4 yards of ripstop in navy blue for an underquilt. Saved about $8.00.

Pip is right. I believe it is 1.9. Fine for hammock use and what I used to make my wonderful air beds--- that is what I call my hammocks sometimes.
