SOLD: Sewing Machine
Free singer 640 Deluxe ZigZag Touch N Sew Sewing Machine. Works great, I just have another one that I use more than this and this is taking up space. Sometimes the pedal sticks for a second but probably just needs some electrical contact cleaner. Must pick up in Pinebluff, NC. You can't beat free.

I'd love to grab this, and will be passing down I-95 South on late Saturday / early Sunday. I would happily detour around Fayetteville to come pick it up but I don't have my exact schedule yet, and it may be at Oh Dark Thirty -- probably not an hour I should be ringing someone's doorbell. :(
Hope it finds a good home, though. It's very generous of you, Bobby! :)

First person to post i'll take it, gets it.

Okay, da Frawg jumps!
Bobby, I'll take it -- if I can pick it up on the 4th without messing up your holiday plans. It looks like I'm 5-1/2 to 6 hours' drive away from you. I'll be driving from Virginia to Florida.
I'll PM you in the morning... gotta go climb in the hammock for the night.:D

Cool, as long as its a time when I am going to be up. Let me know, I should be around. Anytime other than 11pm to 8 am is ok.

Hey Bobby,
It was great to meet you; sorry I didn't get your final email before leaving home.
Your instructions back to I-95 worked great, and took me past a Walmart Super Center where 15/501 meets 74 in Laurinburg. Found a few yards of green & olive 1.1 ripstop in their $1.50 pile! :D There's some more there in other colors (white, grey) if anyone wants to look. Also some in heavier weights (1.7) and a fair amount of the heavier grey that may be DWR. Didn't see any silnylon.
Think I fixed the pedal, btw. Looked like dust & grease had slightly gummed some key moving parts inside the pedal. I cleaned up the insides and lubricated the moving parts, and it seems to be working okay now.
Sweet machine, but I have to say that's one weird bobbin! :) Gotta find some more somewhere.
Anyway, thanks again for your generosity. I'll put it to good use!
And Rev, thanks for chiming in when / as you did. You tipped me over the edge to go get it, so I'm in your debt.

I hope to see some good gear come off of the machine! You're welcome.
You know I have never been to that Wal-Mart, but I know exactly where you are talking about.
It was probably alot easier getting back on 95 than it was getting off. Fayetteville has a nasty traffic problem in the afternoons.
