New Winter Haven
I finally pulled the trigger and ordered a 12 foot Winter Haven from Jared today. I've been going back and forth about what material to use and Jared helped finally choose. I wanted something as durable as possible and am not concerned at all about weight. I get some pretty nasty weather here in Ontario and I don't want to worry about babying my tarp. So I've ordered a charcoal grey 2.2 Hex70 XL 70D (comes in at 74 inches wide) with 3 internal poles. I'm a little concerned about it being nylon but I think with the internal poles and the heavy fabric I can work with the possible sag when it gets wet. For me, I wanted a full coverage tarp (wide) and there aren't a ton of options for fabrics. The 1.1 Silpoly just made me a bit too nervous about durability (although those fears may have been totally unjustified).
I felt bad as I had a ton of questions and was really seeking some validation in my choices, and Jared was great the entire way. Always quick to reply and gave some great suggestions. Everyone here has said how great the customer service is with SLD so that's the main reason I went with Jared, and I wasn't disappointed.
Once I get it I'll post up some pics.

Jared is great to work with and he's fast. I have the Winter Haven in the 1.1 Silpoly and I've never once though it wasn't a durable material. It's gotten away from me a couple to times with no damage. Plus it's been through some 30 mph winds and worked great. I just wish Jared was putting the middle tie down on these when I ordered a few years ago. You'll love this tarp but you wouldn't want to hike with it as that is going to be a beefy tarp.

Ya I was really on the fence about going with the 1.1 but for my style of tripping I'm not worried about the weight. We either car camp, canoe or I pull my stuff on a pulk in the winter so for me the weight wasn't an issue. I've heard nothing but good things about the 1.1 though.
