Looks like I ended up with a total loft around 3.75"-4" which sould get me to approx 20*-30*F. Tried out a draft stopper for the head end, will have to see how it works out. I have to thank Te-Wa and Dutch for all the info & help they offer.
This was our first attempt at a down quilt. It ended up too small. So instead of being a 3/4 qulit it is a 1/2 quilt.
Called this one The Great Pumpkin:
Awesome job ... Love the color, you'll sure be able to find your hammock!
lol that looks great! takes me back to my childhood and charlie brown's halloween
Wow... the overstuffing makes it look sewn-thru. Talk about a warm quilt. I like the color. :)
Beautiful. Looks like great workmanship...
I used a kind of differential baffle shape like Dutch showed here:

Coffee made a similar mistake, he just added another tube/baffle. I can't find it, but I think his directions are here somewhere. If not, he should get back from OZ in about a month or so, & I'm sure he would be able to offer some advice, if you want your quilt to be larger.
Good Greif, Charli.....I mean jeffjenn, Its a beaut.
It turned out really really nice. Did you make the baffles the same as the pictures where the shell material makes the baffle instead of bugnetting?
