I figured I'd make a thread about it because there wasn't one.
So as soon as you boys find a good camp webbing, let a girl know. It would match my tan hammock. :D I have tried to look for some that isn't attached to the tie down ratchet stuff but, have been unsuccessful. Carry on...
Well the thread is good because I think my response on that other thread might get buried.
So I'll paste it here in case someone wants to comment

I just emailed them to see if they know the weight and breaking strength.

Here is their response
"IN RESPONSE TO YOUR EMAIL INQUIRY ABOUT THE WPE1 MAX4 AND WOODLAND WEBBING. WE DO NOT HAVE ANY INFORMATION ON THE TENSILE STRENGTH OF THESE WEBBINGS. YOU COULD BUY A SMALL QUANTITY OF THEM AND TEST THEM. AS FAR AS THE WEIGHT OF THE WPE1 MAX4 IT IS .116/LB A YARD AND THE WEIGHT OF THE WPE1 WOODLAND IS .040/LB A YARD. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN OUR COMPANY AND HAVE A NICE DAY."
so the woodland is .21oz / ft or to keep with the earlier numbers 3.2oz per 15ft.
I might have to order some.....
wouldn't you know it, i've been looking for 1" polyester around that weight everywhere, didn't even check the most obvious place.
i've got several samples of 1" poly in the garage right now, and i know their weight and break strength. based on the weights of other poly webbing, the wpe1 may have a tensile strength of around 1600-1700#. this might be just the right stuff. i tested out some 1100# poly the other day and found it a bit stretchier than i had hoped, i bet a few hundred more #'s will lessen that some. has anyone used this stuff? it even comes in woodland green.
