I would like to get with it on my WBBB 1.7 double. Been using WB 1" tree straps with the dutch clips. But recently, it snapped, and on my butt I went. It actually frayed at the tri-rings then snapped under my weight. (which we will not discuss right now). After some tears and embarrassment, I tried again. It frayed again where the tri-rings bite down (the straps like to slide sideways with the weight). I lost confidence and went to the clark (was base camping with the Boy Scouts). Some more whining about not being in my comfortable BB, then gave up and went to sleep in the truck. Grrrr.
Rook (my hubby) said I need to get converted to whoopies ASAP and the BB will hold my weight with my cocker spaniel too. The BB usually stretches through the night and sags, so I end up hanging the whole set up so high the Te-wa says I need a trampoline to get in it. (He's just too short, HA!). I need to get this together. I do not want to keep fiddling to make it work for me.
So dutch with whoopies? What are you using for tree straps? I got a vision of amsteel wrapping around the tree??? that didn't add up. HUH? Help I need to get some whoopies (preferable made for me. Got the last pair from Stormcrow) and seat belt straps for the tree? Any ideas/thoughts?
