Just wanted to say hello to all of you from the always interesting city of Tokyo, Japan. I am from the great state of Michigan and live and work over here as a teacher. I am brand spanking new to hammocking. Don't yet have a hammock, but doing my research and spending a little time "lurking" on the forum. I am happy to be a part of a great group of folks and hope to meet many of you someday at a future hang. I appreciate all the great information you all put out. It is a big help. Take care.
Greetings and welcome to the addiction. You are in good company here and should learn a lot. I know I have.
Welcome to the hammock forums from Kentucky.
Use the search, browse about and be sure to check out the videos - that Shug has great information to get you started and he's entertaining, too. (Or maybe he's entertaining and also gives great info?)
Whooooo Buddy youkoso!
Watashi no namae wa Shug-san desu.
Watashi wa henna gaijin.
2new4nothing! No clue what international shipping fees are like but you can find Grand Trunk Ultralight Travelers for under $20 on amazon - great way to give hammocking a try. [It's how I've slowly turned all my friends into hammock campers - even the ones who usually only camp once or twice a year :)] Oh and DO check out Shug's videos and get 'chu some shugar!
By the way - hope you haven't had it too rough with the natural disasters and power plant problems!
Welcome to the HF madness from Canada!
Welcome to HF from another Bama hanger...........I hope things are getting better, the news has dropped off concerning the nuculear plant repair/tsunami recovery efforts over here in the states. Keep reading and watch the Newb videos from Shug........they cover all the basics and will entertain as well.
Welcome from another Michigander away from home! (Currently in Rochester, NY.) Best of luck in all your hammock endeavors. :)
Hello and welcome you found a great place here.
