Wilderness Medic Class
So after a week long class of Teaching wilderness Medic students, I am again after many years of hammock camping still convinced this the best way to camp. I slept so wonderful, tried out my superfly... it was good. I wish all could see the benefits of such a light comfortable system. Tried one beautiful night with out the fly due to high wind. It was Ok but I miss my having a fly over me.
I'm gonna have to look into seeing if that class is offered around my area. Is it simular to Wilderness Firstaid?
And as far as others seeing the benefits of hammocking... I've found that with all the camping I do with scouts, just the adults seeing me get up in the morning... and I'm dry and rested and no bones are achy... Sometimes I'm asked questions about my hammock. And I've noticed that more and more of my fellow scouters are buying hammocks.
Yea, I too have been wanting a "wilderness medic" class.
Hammocking AND CEUS what a combination! :D
