FS: Gregory Whitney Pack
Not for the UL Gram Weenie crowd, but for the hiker who carries bulky items, parents hiking with kids, or someone interested in a monthly re-supply this may be the pack you need.
I bought this with the intent of carrying the bulk of my wife's gear along with mine, however all she really does is car camp and it has literally been sitting in my gear closet for a few years now. I need to sell it to fund a cuben tarp and some other toys I want for when I hit the trail solo.
Details and information about the pack can be found here. A picture of it next to another pack for size comparison is in my gallery on Whiteblaze.
This pack is size M Medium - 95 L (5,797 in3) for torso sizes 16 - 17.5 in (40 - 44 cm) and the hip belt is Large - for waists 34 - 40 in (87 - 100 cm)
Priced over $340.00 new, I will ship in the lower 48 for $230.00. PayPal is my preference
Price dropped to $215.00 temporarily. I'll give it a few days and if no interest, most likely withdraw it.
shameless bump ...
We'll go one more day and if no one is interested I'll withdraw from here and post on Geartrade where folks who may not be as weight conscious may shop.
This pack is still available if anyone is interested.
I recently listed a lightly used Dana Design backpack that was large like yours. After getting "zero" nibbles, I listed the pack on ebay at the same price (+10% to cover ebay charge) with a "buy it now" option and sold it in 10 minutes.
Doesn't look like many folks here go for the larger packs for some reason.
I recommend you list it on ebay...
$215 for this pack is a steal. I've got one of these (2001 model) that I've put hundreds of miles on. Gregory packs are awesome. Yeah, they are heavy, but they carry like helium. The Whitney is the most comfortable pack I've ever carried. I've carried up to 65 pounds in mine with no discomfort. Completely bomb proof.
Mike is giving this away. Someone should take advantage. Just sayin...
I second shane's statements!!!

I haven't found a pack more comfortable than a gregory! I own several different models and am eyeing another for day trips -
They carry exceptionally well - I will probably never own anything else besides a Gregory -
Lets keep this thread about the sale, please. Feel free to start a Gregory thread in the backpack subforum.
Mods, I think it's time to close this thread. Rather than leave it hanging open or doing price slashing, I think I'll just hang onto the pack instead.
