I ordered some polyester tablecloths from this company to make some hammocks with. I also bought a sewing machine and DIY gear supplies. Finding this forum has cost me a lot of money but I am having fun with it!

Used today (rainy) to try our hands at making a few of these. Just finished gathering the ends on 3 , including a 90x156 one to try. Took braided mason cord and used a 'yarn needle' to thread the cord through the existing end hem. Tied this around the tablecloth just below the gathered end. Most difficult part was threading the needle.

I put one of these together for my daughter for Christmas. I've had two of the blue ones for over a year now, and she always loves to hop in them. I got her a purple one with cinch buckles I added and she loves it.
I finally made a non crinkle polyester hammock that is 10' X 60 and its very comfortable. The fabric feels great for a indoor home hammock. I installed eye bolts and the hammock is by far the most comfortable seat or bed in the house! Everyone should have an indoor hammock!
Nicely done bigger is better right!
I added another crinkle taffeta to my collection. This time I tried the 90X132 size, and it is luxurious. I even enjoy the floppy sides.
Quick set up. I like it.
