How are you tensioning/tying 1.75 Lash-It Tie-Outs?
I have a new gianormous Cloudburst Tarp for my Ridgerunner hammock. I have ordered 1.75 Lash-It to use for the tie-outs. I'm a Boy Scout leader and normally I would just use a taught-line hitch on my guy lines, but will those hold on 1.75 Lash-It?
I have the small plastic Figure 9's I could use, but I've read those don't always hold with 1.75 Lash-It.
I could order a Dutch Tarp Flyz for each line, but there are eight (8) lines and that would be $60 (seems excessive).
Also, I use titanium shepherd's hook stakes, so the trick where you tie the line around a Y-shaped stake a couple times won't work for me I don't think.
I'll quit rambling now, and listen to your thoughts on this subject.
I found our group hang project
Dude, I'm just going to show up at Lake Texoma with a pack full of raw materials, and once we get to our campsite I'm gonna watch you work magic on all of it. I'll be sleeping in the best hung hammock/tarp in Texas by the end of the night. :D
