After some time of looking around on the internet and on the hammock forums i have to say i finely found my tarp of choice it is going to be the wilderness logics tad pole. but you see i have wanted the eno profly for some time i am going to take you though each tarp in hopes to help you guys.
price:around 80 dollars u.s
tarp: wilderness logics tad pole
price:around 85 dollars u.s
until next time
Specs from each website:
eno profly RIPSTOP NYLON 126"x76" 22oz
eno profly SILNYLON 126"x76" 13 oz
WL tadpole SILNYLON 132"x92" 11.5 oz
Based upon these specs it's an easy decision.
I have a Tadpole and a Superfly. That tadpole is my go to tarp for mild weather. Great coverage, packs small, weighs little to nothing. I have had some leaking of my ridgeline seam. I sealed the inside without success. Once I get around to it, will reseal the inside and outside of the seam. It appears to be an isolated problem with me, as I have not heard any negative comments from other tadpole owners. My friend owns the profly and is not happy after seeing my tadpole.
UPDATE: Decided to go ahead and work on that seam again, turns out it is all my fault. I used a seam sealer I thought was for silnylon and it was for urethane coated fabrics. Flaked and dry scrubbed it all off, reapplying permatex today. Sorry for any doubting on the part of WL.
WL's work is perfect and also their service is fantastic. You can't go wrong in your choice. Enjoy the new tarp when you get it. :)

The tadpole is lighter and offers more coverage. I'd go with it since weight is a factor to me.
my plan before i knew what the tad pole was i was just going to get the eno profly but now am getting the tad pole
Yeah our cottage vendors make better products than eno and for a better prices to. I mean eno I think charges like well over $100 for a silnylon tarp when you can get a better tarp that is bigger and lighter for about $100 from AHE or WL
wow thats great it seems like eno is a little over priced sometimes
