10' blackbird or 11' XLC for first hammock?
i am new to camping/hammocks but have decided to go blackbird for my first setup.
currently am 5'-11" / 205lbs
would a 1.1 double layer xlc (net only) be a good one to start with or should i go with the standard 10'? i dont know if i have the patience to wait for a 10' xlc...
side note: i do plan on getting the 3-season yeti UQ with it. still debating between superfly / mamajamba.
also, i read the double 1.1 is "silkier" than the single 1.7 material. Considering i'm no fan of silk bed sheets, should i rule out the 1.1 material or is it just smoother than 1.7 but not quite real silk smooth :)?
thanks for any advice!
