Definitely recommend using some kind of webbing on the trees, like tree huggers, if you go with rope or cord. Protecting the trees and all that...several threads on it here on HF.

I haven't used the Lawson but I did a BGT review of the Crazy Creek, which is similar. It felt cavernous when I laid in it but no more room for sitting up, and not as easy to use as a lounger.
