i have been thinking real hard on putting this together

what would be the maximum weight something like this would hold?

I run a separate line for my tarp. I like the extra "ceiling" room. And I can also set up and take down under the tarp.

As for right or wrong, the only wrong thing is not using your hammock...

oh I wish I knew about hammock camping several years ago. I like to analyze and evaluate what I need and I find the best place to do that is in my hammock.

Watch a few of Shugs videos and it will convince you you dont need the weather to be warm to use the hammock and all the comforts therein.
