I got my shipping notice on the 6th, and the tracking number still shows it in Aurora, Colorado...:scared: The anticipation is killing me!
I am in! I'm in! (need 10 characters)
I'm in. Thanks!
I was messing around with my ridgeline last night on the hammock in my basement and I neglected to recheck the marlin spike hitches before reentering my hammock. I just started to put some weight on...
My wife doesn't know it yet, but she just got me my first christmas gift!
Thanks, Shane. I was hoping for a comparison of those 2 hammocks because I have my eye on both of them. Keep me posted on the long term opinion of each.
Is that the tulle bugsock, and if so, any trouble with durability or small bugs getting through?

Got my ridgeline yesterday. Looks great, works great. Thanks for the quick service!:boggle:
Sorry Shane, didn't mean to worsen the hammock addiction! ;)
Thanks guys. Hey Opie, I know you tried both, but didn't say much about the switchback. Anything you didn't care for, or is it just that you liked the others better?
These 2 hammocks are relatively new to me. Just wondered if anyone has ever had both and would be willing to offer a comparison. I've read quite a few posts about each and people seem to pretty...
Thanks, ordered my ridgeline!

Welcome from Ohio!
sorry, no sb to trade, but I was curious what size you are that you feel the light hiker is too small.
rodwolfy, I wonder if that is the mod he was talking about in the OP.
Tendertoe, that's what I would do!
sell it to me for $30, and double your money!
I did tell her it was on sale, which seemed to help the situation. I also had her watch one of Shug's videos. Her comment was, "how can you watch that without laughing?" So, Shug, I guess I owe...
I'm fairly new to hammocking. In fact, I don't even have my hammock yet. But when Paul from Arrowhead had his sale, I couldn't resist. I ordered my underquilt and some whoopie slings and the...
I'd hate to think about how many "cold ones" it would take to make that feel comfortable!
my understanding is that Brandon just moved into a new shop, so I assume he is a little behind because of this. If you have ever moved, I'm you know what he is going through.
Welcome from Springfield, OH!
is this #10?
My whoopies are on order, so my experience is only theoretical, but from all I've read 7/64 would be plenty strong for your weight. I'm sure others with actual experience will chime in too.
I'm patiently waiting on mine. I saw that headline and thought "oh no! I picked the wrong one." Now it just makes me want it more.
Ridgeline, if I'm so fortunate
I'm not going to be able to make it. Sorry to miss out. I'll keep an eye out for the next hang and hope to make that one.
Depending on when and where this takes place, I'd love to drop in to check out a few hammocks out if anyone would be willing to let me try their setup for a few minutes. I've been lurking for a...
me too, please!
I like Stefprez' helium idea. Not sure what the insulation factor is compared to air.
