Basic setup without under frame 1.5kg. With frame 3kg. Like sleeping in a floating cot/stretcher.

Nope, they 6mm stainless bolts with finger tight nuts. There is about 100mm of shared tube join at each bolt. Sorry kinda guessing measurements here, made it a while ago.
