If your flying in to TYS, you're pretty much on highways in town until you find the Smokies or national forest. Knox has around 400k people, so no real hiking trails outside of greenways to nowhere.

Sleeping in the truck at the trailhead won't be an issue. There aren't really any decent spots to set up until you hit the creek. If you've made it that far, you may as well hike in the rest of the...

The lightest dutch oven I've seen is the one in someone else's pack.
