That's what I use it for-- that and tarp ridgelines.
Just be warned -- it's strong, but very thin and slick -- I can't get a prussic knot to work on it.
here are some photos.

There is no FaceBook page for Warbonnet.
You started working on my hammock last Monday and I received the hammock back Friday of the same week (I got a Mod 4, take out the velcro and sew it up, and a peak bag) wow that was fast! You turned...
I got the mod 4 with a peak bag, sewed up the velcro- She started working on it on a Monday, and I got it back on the Friday of that same week. Stitching looks amazing, great service, fair price,...
yayyy you are back -- double yay my hammock is next in line!
LOL-- that's the funniest thing I've seen on here!
How about a poncho liner... chair? For those that use them as multi-purpose items (like this guy :) )
Plus one-- It's gotten to the point where I don't even go in there anymore. It's too frustrating. I think it's alot more widespread then mentioned above though.
Easy fix-- I dont go in there ;)

I use the medium-- and it fits my NorthFace...
Wish I had the $ for this -- finally a found a deal I can get behind and I broke! :(
I added a full length ridge-line the first before I even hung the hammock, but I kept the prusik line and the hook, they were not on shock cord though. The line was just some sort of nylon. The HH...
I keep my BB tarp separate because I use it all the time. Keeping it separate would allow you to pull it out when it rains to wait it out. Besides that my Mamajama wouldn't fit in the snake skin...
I wouldn't know -- $60?
The best tarp I've ever seen! Where did you get the material (someone already asked but I thought I'd give it another shot)?
I'll pass this on to my Brother in Law.
Cool (pun)-- I'll keep my eyes peered open for them.
This is one is what use -- the stove fits nicely inside that bucket. and it pulls effortlessly on the sled. ...
I watched the video -- I didn't see a hammock in there (maybe I missed it or watched the wrong one). The pictures seem to show a tent with a hammock inside though. Never thought of that. That'd be...
Just checking to make sure -- you are selling this... http://www.jacksrbetter.com/shop/bear-mountain-bridge-hammock-ultra-light/
Seriously!!! That's not a hammock! That's a tent! That was my whole point.
I should have followed my own advice (The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak) :) . Thanks for the reminder, and I edited my last post to save you the trouble.
I like that last point, and everything except the warmer part in point 3.

 You think that a under-quilt is equivalent to half a sleeping bag?
Let's see my JRB underquilt is about 50" wide -- my sleeping bag is about 58" at the widest (and it's a...
My next hammock I get will be the Thunderbird in MARPAT, I might sell my Warbonnet.
I have horse shoes. My kids love to go on GeoCashe hunts-- we could either go hunting in the area or make a cashe.
How about a car trunk sale for gear?
I'll be bringing my 7 year old.
I have...
It's a nice bag -- fo-sho
Multipurpose is the way to go!
Thanks for taking the time. I would have never thought of the patch kit. I also like the sleeping bag mod.
My wife and I are teachers and we leave home in late may and take our 2 boys across the country all summer. We usually go from Riverside to Wisconsin, making our first stop in St George UT, do Zion...
I ordered a side zip Expedition for my 7 year old (when he joined the scouts) and they sent me a bottom entry Explorer, I sent it back and they assured me they'd get me out my order ASAP. Three...
Did your ridge runner not come with pole sleeves?
4 months with 4 kids! I have no advice for you... but I will pray. :D
LOL-- if you say so--
You are confused? Well you have to carry more (ie 2 sleeping bags as opposed to just one bag a and a mat) to stay warm in a hammock. Therefore, it's harder to stay warm. Does that make sense to you?
No big feat, after all, in a hammock you are sleeping in/on two sleeping bags (ie a Top Quilt and a Bottom Quilt).
I was cruising YouTube and ran across this crazy ginger rolling around in a hammock and said to myself-- if he's representative of the kind of people that use hammocks... I'm in. Three hammocks and...
Just remember it's alot harder to stay warm in a hammock, then it is in a tent with a pad and bag.

I'm down-- I got 55 gal water barrel to contribute-- plus I just got a 200lbs caribou and can bring some steaks or breakfast sausage or something. Also have an extra hammock that someone can try out.
Welcome from So Cal-- where in Ca are you?
Three of those came home with me when I left (got 2 in my truck and one in my wife's CRV). I wouldn't cut them up. Besides, I don't know how much air it'd trap as a sort of under-quilt (plus they...

Might I suggest a USMC issue ILBE patrol pack $20 on Amazon. Simple yet bomb proof. I'd keep that Falcon for day hikes.
Dwolla is also 2nd Amendment friendly. FYI
Thank you kind sir.
