Ha. I knew you had to have some upstate State Carolina in you from somewhere.
My wife's job is taking her to Enores today. She's ther once a week.
Wow. Looks like I missed a real good time. I'm gonna have to make the next one.
Ha, I'd love that. But unfortunately her idea of camping is a cabin in Pidgon Forge Tenn.. And then only if there's a hot tube and a trip to the Pedaler steak house in Gattlinburg.
Looks like I'm not gonna make it. The wife and I have a chance at a weekend with out the kids. That doesn't happen often so were gonna make the most of it. As much as I'd like to meet y'all. I'm not...
And it would have flown well wind was blowing about 5-20 mph most of the time. I told several people about it though.
I'm 220# and the stand felt rock solid.
If they only knew how warm and comfortable I was in my hammock they wouldn't have ask us to pack up at 4am.
That's not worth doughnuts for a year.
Ha. Those doughnuts won't last a day with my kids around (13 year old twins). The new Krispy Kreme is on Woodruff rd. just off I385. Between hardees and bojagles.
The Peddler is friggin awesome. ...
Your not missing anything. Face for radio but not the voice for either.
The doughnuts will mostly go to the family. I prefer Dunkin doughnuts or Daylight doughnuts in Johnson City Tenn.
Yea that was my goofy looking self. Good thing my daughter takes after my wife. That was my wife and daughter with me.
Fox is out here again they said their doing a live shot at around 11 might get to see my hammock then.
Check fox news at 10 they wanted to video me getting in. They might show it.
Also CBS news took some shots of it.
First person in line gets a free dozen every week for a year. 2-49 get a dozen every month. And 50-100 get a t-shirt.
I'm #2 a high school kid beat me to the first spot. He's a good kid though he...
I don't know about this park but some state parks only allow mtn. bikes on the trails on certain days. You might want to check on it.
I'm on a little pre camping trip for a couple of nights. I'm in front of a new Krispy Kreme for two nights to win free doughnuts for a year.

I Probaly need to stay with him away from the fire I've lost more than an eyebrow around a campfire before. :scared:
Am I missing an eyebrow?
Ok how bout a tarp with adjustable legs.:laugh::laugh:
Does anyone think we could use one of those pop up tents for gathering under and such?
+1. Agreed that's all I'll say about that.
:-( I understand my father in law spent a week in the hospital from some bad Chinese.
Does anyone have any amsteel they'd like to get rid of?
Chinese as long as they have good sushi. :)
Are their any good places on the beach near MB?
Hello there.
Hawaii really. I'd love to camp there. Much less live. Some people have just got it made. :) Yea my back and hips hate the ground.
Will they not let you hang at all there?
And I didn't even get to tryout my underquilt I finished yesterday. :-(
Not yet. I couldn't wait to hang it to see how it looked. I still have to add some side tie outs also.
My DIY 8.5'x11' tarp out $1.50 Walmart fabric. It was an upholstery ripstop fabric with a very thin foam backing. I was able to peel off the backing very easily. I'm quite happy with how it turned...
My In laws who operate an upholstery shop said it was constructed just like some upholstery fabric but with a micro ripstop face. Anyway I just peeled off the backing and I think I'll make a heavy...
Nothing in mind at the time. Just couldn't pass up $1.50 ripstop.
But after peeling the backing off the ripstop itself isn't to heavy. I'm sure I'll find a use for it.
I picked up 8 yards of this at Walmart off of the $1.50 rack. It's very heavy 8 yds. X 54" is about 5.5 lbs. With a little coaxing I was able to separate the layers.
Any ideas on an id

Duh didn't think about that. If your looking for one closer to modoc the one here in greenville would be closer.
There's one about an hour and a half north in Charlotte.
I think I'd like to get in on this.
Like to get to know some of the (locals) on this forum.

I'm in. Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas to all. And to all a goodnight.
You to Shug.
Oh sorry that's a deep freezer.
Hey if y'all get cold you could always fire up that dryer.
Now to get rid of this 6mm rope and get me some amsteel.
That's kinda what I came up with. Just used a 10' fabric tape tied to one end trough a tight loop on the other. Turns out its comfortable at 76%. 11'6"
104.5" ridge.
I was trying that. 83 just wasn't right. Took it off to adjust it laid back down without it on and bam it was perfect. My butts 2" off the ground though.
Got my hammock whipped perfect. Hanging at the right angle. I can lay comfortable on my back, side, even my stomach. Now I just need someone to come measure it for a ridgeline while I'm in it.
Been It on Netflix. Till the next season of Doctor Who comes out.
Ok so it's about 2am it's 37*f me and the kids out in the back yard watching the show. I love my hammock.
Well my son just bailed (Winnie). So it's just me and my daughter now.
Think I'll have to steal that logo man.
That's cool man. Lost was one of my favorite shows. Right behind the X-files.
Have you came up with anymore?
